Da pochi giorni e' stata rilasciata la nuova release del software IM piu' famoso nel mondo opensource: Pidgin 2.6.3 ( Changelog ).
Nonostante la crescita notevole di Empathy , l'erede di Gaim risulta essere ancora il software di messaggeria multiprotocollo piu' affidabile.
Oltre le note caratteristiche presenti sia su Pidgin che sugli altri client di messaggeria instantanea, la community che gravita intorno al progetto offre un ottimo supporto per i plugin di terze parti.

Torno a recensire Fulci con un giallo tra i più inquetanti e profondi tra quelli diretti del regista romano. A metà tra "Twin Peaks" e "La casa dalle finestre che ridono", "Sette note in nero" è un fine thriller che gioca con il subconscio della protagonista, turbata da orrende visioni premonitrici di morte, costruendo con le stesse, un puzzle davvero intricato. Fulci è abituato a giocare coi sogni e le visioni dei propri personaggi, ma anche in questo caso ci riesce con stile e intelligenza. Virgina è un giovane e affascinante architetto sposata con un nobile toscano. Le visioni accompagnano Virginia fin dall'infanzia e cominciano con la percezione mother's suicide. I'll be back at full speed to update my blog after a long (very long) summer break, with a review of one of the most successful films of last season. Waiting to read (it seems really long) Stieg Larsson's book, I could finally watch the film based on the first book of the late Swedish writer. I found it a gripping thriller, well made and well played by established actors in the international scene. A story perhaps not very original, but in addition to the beautiful environments, what makes a successful book and film international, is the smart and rich description of the characters, who become for the reader / viewer of heroes with all their varied facets. Mikael Blomqvist (not the former Milan midfielder) is a journalist who runs a magazine assault policy that is called Millennium. The crisis in the newspaper, and the staff of the journalist, are related to legal proceedings for defamation they see Blomkvist accused (and convicted) against a corrupt tycoon of the Swedish economy. Before you start serving his sentence, Blomkvist decides to accept the proposal of the wealthy businessman Henrik Vanger: a generous reward to investigate the disappearance of his beloved niece, which took place forty years ago.
