Since I received requests to know what are the ATC I've been busy and now beccatevi a 3-4 minute reading:
What is ATC?
Many of you already know what I'm talking about, ma molte di voi, invece, partono da zero come io , quindi cerco di riportare le spiegazioni che ho trovato sul Internet.(ho preso le info un po di qua e un po di la)

ARTIST TRADING CARD ( A.T.C.)
Le ARTIST TRADING CARDS o ATC sono carte collezionabili che hanno due regole fisse, la misura e il fatto che non possono essere vendute, ma solo scambiate.
Sono dei piccoli lavori artistici creati su un cartoncino aventi dimensioni ben precise, 2,5" x 3,5"(inch) ossia 6,4 x 8,9 CENTIMETRI, la misura delle figurine sportive americane e delle carte da poker.

Ci sono ATC fatte completamente a mano, altre create in digitale o fotografiche, ogni tecnica è riconosciuta così come ogni materiale: l'importante is that they are strong enough to be shipped, carried around or displayed, and not too thick.

Many artists hanno anche una card di "firma" con un autoritratto o logo personale di fronte e un piccolo 'curriculum' sul retro che consegnano insieme ad ogni ATC inviata o scambiata.

STORIA DELLE ATC
Un artista svizzero è ritenuto il padre di questa forma di arte. Nel 1996-1997 l’artista Vanci Stirnermann ispirato dalle figurine sportive americane di Hockey organizzò una mostra nella sua galleria a Zurigo con 1200 suoi lavori in miniatura aventi esattamente le dimensioni delle figurine di Hockey. L’ultimo giorno della mostra disse ai visitatori che chi voleva ricevere uno dei suoi lavori avrebbe dovuto crearne una e scambiarla con lui.
